Twin Rivers Lions Club was organized in Jun 1990 and received its charter on August 25, 1990, with 23 original members. Those members were:

Douglas Amerson, Fredd Ammirata, James Carawan, Bobby Cates, Dan Dudley, William Forrest, W.T. Gilgo Jr., Will Gorges, Dale Gupton, Mickey Hearne, Sam Kellum Jr., Kenneth Knapp, Hal Latham, Leon Marsh Jr., E.E. McDonal, William Newberry, Graham Royal, Richard Seiple, Sanford Stallings, Nick Taylor, Gary Tiddy, and Kenneth Wallace.

Since its beginning, Twin Rivers has lived up to the Lion's motto, "We Serve!"

Our fund raising  projects include raffles, and our ever popular Funnel Cake sales. Stop by our booth in New Bern during the July 4th celebration at Union Point or MumFest in October.
